SNOWMOBILE TRAIL REPORT FOR MARCH 14, 2018

We haven’t had an update from the U.P. Thunder Riders since March 5.  The last we knew they were not planning on grooming again until we got plenty of snow.  Although we had a couple inches a couple days in a row, it still wasn’t enough for them to work with.  When looking at the trails going through town, we see plenty of snirt on the trails.  With temps the way they were there were also many icy corners.  A good educated guess at this point would be that you would find trails running from poor and into good in the shaded areas in the woods.

Vilas county trails to the south are supposed to be closing up tomorrow, March 15.  Our trails here stay open until March 31.  Even if they aren’t great, our trails remain open.

It looks like we are coming to the end early this year.  We thank you for choosing to Watersmeet as your destination for a get away.  We know you have lots of choices and are happy that you have chosen our area.  We hope you love it here as much as we do.  And all of our businesses here thank you, too.  Our area businesses take pride in helping to make your vacation time the best it can be.  We all hope that you’ll plan to come back again soon.  Thanks so very much for visiting.  We look forward to seeing you next year.
