The Ottawa Visitor Center is located on the corner of US 2 and Highway 45 in Watersmeet, Michigan. Through interpretive programs and displays, their goal is to foster understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the natural, cultural, recreational, and wilderness resources of the Ottawa National Forest.
Hours of operation from June – September are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. From October to May, hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The access entrance is located on US 2 just east of Highway 45.
All programs are free of charge and begin at 7 p.m. CST. Come and enjoy. This is great for everyone!
